No, I could not gleam an answer from that solution. I am not sure how the individual who posted the question even installed an app on an external HD in the first place, as I was told from someone in Microsoft Support that this was not possible.

For a little more information on my problem, I have gone to Settings > Storage and changed the default download location to the external HD. It even created a WindowsApps folder on the drive, making me think everything should work fine. But when I attempt to download an app to the drive I receive the message:

You're running out of storage space. Manage your storage at Settings>System>Storage.

...which is odd, because the external HD has far more than enough space for the app. My main drive does not have enough space, though (which is why I'm using the external HD) so maybe it is still attempting to download there, despite my changes to the settings.

Hi,

Can you please check the following links

https://www.easeus.com/partition-master/how-to-...

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

Let me know if that helps.

No, these did not help me. As I mentioned in my previous reply, these are the things I originally tried. I have even tried installing the app directly to my C: drive, and then using the "Move" option to move the app, but this did not work either. It still claims the target drive does not have enough space for the app (but it does).

I have scoured the internet for a solution to this, but the only thing I have found is other frustrated customers. I would really appreciate some help from Microsoft on this issue.
